Bitcoin has solved the trust problem by eliminating trust from everyone else. From person-to-person all the way up to nation state level, it’s very difficult to establish and verify trust. It’s almost impossible when you have two adversaries, each of whom is hacking and running intelligence operations.
The only neutral territory in a world like this is something that’s organic enough to have grown up with the support of the people, but robust enough to stand up to the toughest scrutiny.
It is a commonly accepted ledger across the entire world, and for the rest of time. Essentially, BTC has infinite value because there is no price you can put on the ability to send permanent messages into the future that are guaranteed to be authentic.
