Diablo 4 is set to launch this June, but before that, Blizzard Entertainment will be giving players the chance to dive in and get a taste of its offerings with a pre-launch open beta. There hasn’t yet been any official word on when exactly that beta will arrive, but it seems that will soon change.

Diablo 4’s open beta dates could be announced later this month at IGN Fan Fest. Responding to a question about Diablo 4’s open beta and when new information on it will be unveiled, Diablo GM Rod Fergusson wrote, “Soon! If only we were presenting at some sort of gaming moment this month where one might announce such a thing…”

The game has been officially confirmed to be part of the lineup of the event, which is set to livestream on February 17 and February 18.

Blizzard Entertainment has previously confirmed that those who pre-order Diablo 4 will get early access to its open beta. Specific details on what exactly that will entail are likely to be revealed at IGN Fan Fest as well.

Diablo 4 is due out on June 6 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC- though reports have spoken about behind-the-scenes development issues and crunch that could end up resulting in a delay. Read more on that through here.
